ATR And MACD Forex Scalping Strategy
This is a scalping strategy that determines an entry during breakout using ATR and MACD indicator. This is for 1 hour or higher timeframe and works on some EUR pairs such as EURCHF, EURGBP, EURUSD, USDCHF.
Forex Indicator:
- Set your MACD indicator to 5, 15, 1.
- Set your ATR Ratio indicator (7, 21, level 1) > 1
Long Entry:
- MACD Indicator is greater than 0.
- ATR Ratio Indicator is greater than 1.
Short Entry:
- MACD Indicator is less than 0.
- ATR Ratio Indicator is less than 1.
Exit Position:
- Exit the position when MACD changes direction and ATR both turn below less than 1.
- Quick take profit at 7-15 pips.
- Place initial stop loss
